William Roger "Bill" Friddell, 72, of Ooltewah, was called home to be with the Lord Monday, December 19, 2016. He worked for many years for Everhart Steel Erection and retired from Archer Daniels Midland where he was in Lab Management. His hobby was woodworking. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict and Past Master and forty-three year member of Fidelity Lodge No. 558, F. & A.M. where he held a proficiency card for teaching Masonic work as well as the "Know It All" Pin. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-nine years, Billie Joyce Nelson Friddell, father, William Cotton Friddell and sisters, Sandra Collins and Rita Mosley.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Puckett; granddaughter, Olivia Puckett; mother, Mildred Louise Orton Friddell; sisters, Lucinda (Bob) Bankston and Cathy (Laverne) Murray and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be in Fidelity Lodge No. 558 F. & A. M. Monday December 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Masonic Service will be conducted at noon, Tuesday. The Rev. Farley Branham will conduct the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Lodge.

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fidelity Lodge No. 558 F. & A. M. for the Lexington Shriners Hospital.
