IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Thomas
Larson
February 2, 1936 – February 1, 2023
William "Bill" Larson, by virtue of pure stubbornness, left this world one day before his 87th birthday on Feb. 1, 2023. He was clearly determined to spend his 87th birthday with the love of his life, Jane Larson, who had the audacity to predecease him, but not before they spent 58 years in wedded bliss. Their union produced three children, Kimberly, Christine, and Erik. Those children also spawned children, so Bill leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren to carry on in his absence.
Bill spent 30 years working for GMC to provide for the family he and Jane built. After retirement, he and Jane both pursued their passions. Jane enjoyed playing with the Chattanooga Symphony as a violinist, and Bills interests led him to several volunteer opportunities. Bill filled his retirement years as a volunteer at the Tennessee Aquarium and at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. Memorials can be made to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in lieu of flowers if you feel so led.
No memorial service will be held. If you wish to honor Bills memory, go have breakfast with friends, watch some You Tube, or take your children for a train ride. Find humor in sadness, be silly, be sassy.
