William Bullifin McConnico, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, after a very long illness. Born on September 17, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was the beloved son of the late Susan and John McConnico. Will was a proud graduate of Louisiana State University Shreveport and went on to earn his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Southwestern Seminary. His professional career in retail spanned many years, where he managed Radio Shack and appliance stores, earning numerous sales awards. He was widely admired for his kind and gentle demeanor, treating everyone from customers to friends and family with genuine warmth and respect. Will spent his young adult life in Alabama before settling in Chattanooga, where he lived for more than 25 years. Will had a lifelong passion for anything with a motor, purchasing his first motorcycle at just 15 years old. His adventurous spirit extended to the water and snow, as he found joy in both sailing and skiing. These hobbies brought him countless memories and adventures. He is survived by his daughter and her mother, Donna McConnico; his siblings John McConnico, Ann Hutchinson (John), Edward McConnico (Becky), and Susan Valentine (Sanford). He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Keenan McConnico. Will was a kind and gentle soul, blessed with a great sense of humor and an unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private memorial service to celebrate Will's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America or a local charity of your choice.
