William 'Bill' Joseph Wooden, 80, passed away in his sleep at home on Sat, July 2nd, 2016 in Soddy Daisy, Tenn. He was born January 6th, 1936 to Harvey and Nettie Marie (Knight, Ingle) Wooden. He married Garnet Louise (Clark) Hays in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill enjoyed fishing and cars and in his Younger days Even Working on them. The Car Bug Bit All of Us, Even Judy His Daughter.

Survivors include Sister JoAnn (Wooden, Guinn ) Hollis and her 2 Daughters Kathy and Tinika, her 2 Sons Ronnie and James ( Pete ) Bill had 3 sons, James P. Hays of Wadsworth, Oh, and His 4 Children Hanna, Jamie, James (Bo) and MaryJo ,(Son), Jeffrey Allan Wooden and Wife Michelle ( Barnas) and 4 Boys Jacob and Joseph of Soddy Daisy, Tn, Jeffrey of Ohio, Joshua of Tn and 1 Daughter Kristen ( Krissy ) of Cleve, Oh,(Son), Harvey Lee Wooden and Wife Kim (Vandergriff) and Son Harvey of Sale Creek, Tn and 1 Daughter Judith Anne and Husband, Larry ( Wooden, Bailey ) Taylor and her 2 Boys Frank and Danny of Soddy Daisy & Fla. And Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; Sister Edna (Wooden) Stiner, Sister Ruby Jewel (Wooden) Dillon and Brother Leon H. Wooden

There Were times That We Cried,,, There Were Times That We Laughed,,, Then There Were Times We did Not Know What To Feel,,, He Was Set in His Ways and Never Changed for Anyone,,, When He Was Around He Instilled in Us what He Thought or Was Taught Was The Right Way to Raise Us Boys and Our Sister,,, It May Not Have Been Sesame Street Ways,,, But it Made Us Who We are Today and I Would Hope That is a Good Thing,,, We Love You Dad and Will Surely Miss You,,, May God Look Over You and Mom and May Both Rest in Peace Amen!!
