Billie B. Holder, age 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away at on April 12, 2022, at NHC of Chattanooga.
"Billie" was born on March 26, 1936 in Miami, Florida. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and traveled all over the United States, with her adopted brother, and had the good fortune of seeing alot of this beautiful country, East and West coast alike. She met her beloved husband Bill Holder, in Miami, Florida and they were married on July 22, 1956. They enjoyed a blessed loving relationship for 64 years until the time of his death on December 5th, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be remembered fondly in the hearts of many. She was a member of Northminister Presbyterian Church for many years. Billie was a dedicated volunteer and lifelong member of Optimist International, where she supported much of the clubs activities. She worked many positions throughout her life but found her true joy in running "Ms. Billie's Daycare", where she nurtured many children who will forever be touched by the loving memories she made with them. She loved her family, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her adopted mother, her brother, Buddy, and her beloved huband, Bill and grandson, J.R. Pearce.
She is survived by her daughters, Je'nice (Ronny) Pearce, Sharon (Dave) Godfrey, and Michelle (Allan) Holder; 7 grandchildren, Deborah (Joe) Kearsing, Barbara (Chris) Slingerland, Alicia (Chad) Kelley, David (Julie) Godfrey II, Christopher "William" Brooks, Lauren Pearce, and Brandon Pearce, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A life celebration will be held sometime in (date to be announced).
