Carl Kile Obituary

Carl Raymond Kile, aged 80, peacefully slipped into the arms of Jesus on April 15, 2023.  In his final moments, he was surrounded by his loving family.

Raymond attended Highland Park Baptist Church for many years before joining Bayside Baptist Church.  He served as a Deacon and shared his musical gifts by playing the trumpet in the church orchestra.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth B. Kile and Evelyn Newlin Kile and his brother, Robert "Bobby" Kile.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Audrey Sharp Kile; their four children, Carla (Rick) Grider of Harrison; Laura Kile of Tunnel Hill, GA; Nathan Kile of Signal Mountain; David (Christina) Kile of Ooltewah; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson, with another due in  June; sisters, Martha (Jerry) Daniels, Jean Zumbro and Jane Read.

Raymond was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather who always had a smile and never met a stranger.  His kindness and love for God and others shined through until the very end.  Raymond was retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service.
