Charlotte Trieber, 91, passed away quietly in her sleep, December 23. Having a vivid imagination & a lifelong love of reading, she always enjoyed figuring out the background of people she encountered through history or media, & alternate possible storylines. She wrote travel articles & fictional stories. For many years, she taught crafts to children. She & her husband, Marshall, enjoyed being tourists in America & abroad. Until she turned 90, she was unstoppable. Even in declining health, she kept her personality, her humor & her curiosity. Gone to a great reunion, she rejoins her husband, three of her four siblings & other older relatives.
She is survived by one brother in Oklahoma, her daughter, Cathy; son, John & daughter-in-law, Connie; nephew, Robert & extended family.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 29 at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church on Ashland Terrace from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. The reverend, F. Quinn Parman IV, will conduct the service at 2 p.m. in the church.
Interment will be at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
