Obituary
Chris Davis, 59, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
He was born and raised in Soddy-Daisy and graduated from UTC in 1985 where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He remained an active member of the alumni. Chris loved fishing, golfing and most importantly his family.
He was predeceased by his father, Gene Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie Davis; son, Blake (Suzana) Davis; daughter, Sarah (Barry) Stutheit; grandson, Xavier; mother, Sis Davis; sister, Karen (Rob) Burge; brother, Philip (Dianna) McCoy and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Freedom Church, 11150 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. Pastor Mike Battles will conduct the memorial in the church at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi.
