Cody Nathaniel Hanson

Cody Nathaniel Hanson passed away April 14, 2020, at the age of 28. He graduated from Ooltewah High School in 2010, Chattanooga State 2014, and was continuing his education at UTC. He was a member of the Honor Society and Beta Club in high school where he also played baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling. He was also a member of the APA league at Chattanooga Billiards Club East. He played with his brother, Alex, and his uncle Steve. He worked for his family-owned construction business.

He was predeceased by his uncles, Wayne & Steve Partlow; grandmother, Sue Ellen Burnett Wagner; grandfather, Darryl W. Partlow; great uncles, Larry & Neil Partlow; great grandmothers, Bertie P. Thorne and Esther Brooks Burnett Holley.

Survivors include his mother, Cindy Sue Partlow Hanson; father, Chris Nathaniel Hanson; brother, Alex Christopher Hanson; grandparents, Pat & Jerry Hanson, Patti & Stanley Wagner Sr; aunts & uncles, Scott & Pam Hanson, Shane & Ashely Hanson, Lindy & Mark Stolpmann; cousins, Russell Hanson, Margaret Hanson Rogers, Renee’ Hanson, Eric Hanson, Drew & Tyler Hanson, Blake Winstead, Michele & Juli Stolpmann; great aunt, Nancy Stanz; second family, Joe & Tina Wilson, Brad & Chris Travis, Michael Reagan, Jacques Smith, Matt Brooks, Hayden Jordan, and Jordan Romine.

Cody will never be forgotten.

He had unimaginable courage, perseverance, and loyalty.
