Columbus "Frank" Doyal

Columbus “Frank” Doyal, 85 of Rossville, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Frank was a member of Ridgedale Church of Christ and loved being a deer hunting guide, camping, fishing, beekeeping and Bluegrass Music Festivals. He retired from Holcomb Garden Center.

He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel Henry and Addie Jo Sisk Byrd Doyal; (first wife) Lola Pruitt Doyal; son, Michael Dewane Doyal; sisters, Georgia Mae, Naomi, Kate, Lorine, Bobbie and Ada; brothers, Henry “Hank”, Compton and Ronald Eugene Doyal.

Survivors include his wife, S, Jean (Meroney) Doyal, married in 1959; daughter, Teresa Diane Doyal; son, C. Freddy (Jan Hall) Doyal; daughter-in-law, Angel (Steakly) Doyal and sister-in-law, Nola Pruitt; brother, Sam (Shelba) Doyal, Sr.; sister, Evelyn (Doyal) Rominger; grandchildren, Jackie (Todd), Jeremy (Jennifer), Ashley (Adam), and Caroline (Caleb); great-grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Nolan, Sadie, Emmett, Ada Grace, Hank, twins Cal & Crew soon; great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Waylon.

A special heartfelt thanks to Caris Hospice, all employees were like close family.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Ridgedale Church of Christ, 1005 Dodds Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404. Ministers Ken Willis & Paul Stidham will conduct a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the church. The immediate family will have a private inurnment at Anderson Cemetery in Ringgold, GA.
