Daniel Taylor "Dink" Maupin, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Family and friends received the unexpected news of Daniel “Dink” Maupin’s passing on April 22, 2021.
An amazing, fun and loving father to daughter Kinsley (Maupin), and to his sons Cole and Austin (Howard), Dink will always be their guardian angel. To his best friend & life partner, he will forever remain the greatest love to his wife, Mistee Howard Maupin. Daniel is the beloved son of his mother Robin Maupin, and his father Owen (Debbie) Maupin, and brother to Paul Maupin and niece, Sydney Maupin.
Daniel enjoyed both flying r/c aircraft and drones, and taking flying lessons for a pilot’s license. He also enjoyed 3D printing and all things tech. For the past 5 years Dink has been so much to so many of his HomeServe family members, where he worked as a manager of people in the supervisor role.
Dink’s early departure is devastating to everyone who knew and loved him, and if you knew him you loved him. A life that touched other lives will go on forever, in love and in memory. And in their absence, such a loss will never be forgotten nor painless.
For us having only 38 short years to share with him is just not long enough. Sadly, so much seems to be left undone, and so many words left unsaid. During this time we look to our memories of Dink for comfort, and to the many moments we shared with him that will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
