Obituary

Dorothy Evelyn Goodson, 92, a lifelong resident of Hixson, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 4, 2023.

She was a graduate of Hixson High School. She was a lifelong member of Hixson First Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents George & Versa Goodson; sisters, Vivian Gann, Betty Wilson; brothers, Harold Goodson, George Goodson and Samuel M. Goodson.

Survivors include her brother, Wayne Goodson; many nieces & nephews.

She was loved and will be missed by her niece, Linda (Rick) Watts; great-niece, Lindsay (Jonathan) Mauney & their children.

In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, may be made to Hearth Hospice, 513 Georgia Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37403.
