Obituary

Earl Frank Gordy, Jr. passed from this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Frank was a math teacher at Ringgold high school for 30 years before retiring. But Frank liked to be busy, so he continued teaching math for many years at Chattanooga State and continued private tutoring after retirement. He touched many lives during his years of teaching.

Frank loved Chattanooga and its history. During his retirement, he also worked at the Chattanooga Welcome Center for several years and impressed many tourists with his knowledge of Chattanooga's history.

Frank was a huge Nascar fan and had been to many races. He loved his beloved wife more than anything in this world and cherished time with his children and grandchildren. He was loved dearly by them.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Earl, Willie, and Jay.

He is survived by his wife and north star, Donna; sons, Trey (Amber), Kyle (Elyse), and Ben; daughter, Missy (Matt); sister, Glenda; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nicholas, and Noah; and great-grandchild, Macy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15, 2022, anytime between 4-6 p.m. at the River Park Shelter #4 to celebrate Frank's life.
