Fred Bassom Millsaps

Fred Bassom Millsaps passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at the age of 71.  He was a long time resident of Chattanooga, TN and was a graduate of East Ridge High School, Class of 1969.  Fred was a manager at various Wendy's restaurants in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area.  In his earlier career he was a DJ at WCPH 1220 radio station in Etowah, TN.

He was loved deeply by his friends and family, and was regarded as a kind and caring soul who was always up for an adventure or to just be a sympathetic ear.  His departure from this world will leave a hole in the hearts of those who loved him; but we are blessed that he leaves behind many great memories to replace that absence. His love and friendship will survive long after his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lola Millsaps.  He is survived by his son Charles Millsaps, daughter Terri Oliver, beloved grandson Leo Oliver, and loving cousins Linda Phillips, Maxine Honeycutt, Morene Cangemi, Beth McNulty, and their families.
