Gladys Dora Quinn

Gladys Dora Quinn, 75, of Apison, TN passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023.
She was of the Church of God faith, loved her family and lived her entire life in Apison except the last few years that she lived with her daughter in Ooltewah. All of her life she took great joy in always helping people, that was her passion in life. She was formerly employed at Collegedale Caseworks for many years, prior to that she worked at Dynatronics Corp.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Earl Dewey Quinn; parents, Ira & Margaret Walker; three brothers, Paul "Bunt" (Joyce) Walker, Willie (Jewel) Walker, Johnny (Connie) Walker; three sisters, Joann (Larunce) Wilson, Roberta Boyd, and Arlene "Kay" (Archie) Harden.
Survivors include her three children, Cynthia (Russell) Quinn Webb, of Ooltewah, Earl Johnny (Heidi) Quinn, of Athens, Leona (Ephraim) Gates, of Harrison; two brothers, Bobby (Jackie) Walker, of Georgia, Alonzo (Lina) Walker, of Georgia; grandchildren, Adam (Nicole) Miller, Gina (Chad) Hullender, Amy (Brady) Quinn Valliere, Dewayne Quinn, Daisy Gates, Bethany Gates, Natalya Quinn, Nicholas Quinn; great-grandchildren, Keira Miller, Mason Miller, Levi Hullender, Leah Hullender, Oakley Valliere, Ripken Valliere with fourteen bonus grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27 at The Lord's House from 1p.m. to 3p.m. Lamar Walker will conduct the funeral at 3p.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery.
