Gloria Jean Henson, 72, of Ooltewah, beloved mother, sister and Maw Maw, drew her final breath in a local hospital on Monday, October 12, 2020.
Jean retired from U.S. Xpress. She was an avid Elvis fan who enjoyed going to Memories Theater that featured Lou Vuto covering Elvis’ work. She cherished the time she spent as President of Lou Vuto’s Fan Club.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Terry Henson; parents, Marvin and Burma Richardson; sister, Bobbie Garner; nephews, Ronnie Parker and Bryan Penland.
Survivors include her sons, Marty (Sherry) Henson and Terry (April) Henson; grandchildren, Matthew (Megan) Henson, Brandon (Alex) Henson, Jessie (Drew) Fox; great-grandchildren, Brelynn Fox, Emma Henson, Harper Henson and one on the way; sisters, Glinda Webb, Linda (Robert) Lusk and Charlotte Greene; brothers, Estill (Judy) Richardson with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 16 at noon in Greenwood Cemetery.
