Harry Hudson Carper

Harry H. Carper, 76 of Ringgold, GA passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019.

He was born in Charleston, W.V. and has lived in Ringgold, GA for the last 16 years prior to leaving Atlanta, GA where he lived for 26 years. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and retired from USF Holland Trucking Company in 2008.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harry E. and Margaret Carper of Oak Ridge, TN.

Survivors include his wife, Karen B. Carper of Ringgold, GA; brother, Robert (Nancy) Carper of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; son, Chip Carper of Canton, GA; step-son, Scott (Jill) Stooksbury of Cartersville, GA, Kim (Pat) Horne of Ringgold, GA, Brian (Sarah) Stookbury of Tunnel Hill, GA; two grandchildren and 14 step-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1 p.m.
