Howard Clinton Peters, 76, of Ringgold GA, passed away on June 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
A lifelong resident of Ringgold, he served his country in Vietnam in the United States Marine Corp in 1969 and 1970. He was honorably discharged and returned home to Georgia.
Howard was a business owner in the siding industry until his retirement. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, fast cars, and gardening.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Florence Peters; granddaughter, Brianna Mosley; brother, Kenneth Peters and special nephew, Denny Peters.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Johnnie Peters, of the residence; daughters, Tammie Mitchell (Ray Reason) and Kristy Peters (Jesse Ridley); granddaughter, Megan Ridley; sister, Brenda (Herman) Kapherr; brothers, Gary (Della) Peters, Pete (Myra) Peters, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Howard is also survived by his best friend, Greg (Sally) Pentz who are very special to the family.
Greg Pentz will conduct a celebration of life service on Wednesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at the residence.
