James Johnson Obituary
Jimmy Johnson, 55, passed away peacefully March 20, 2024 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy's favorite job of all time was being the lifeguard at Hurricane Creek Pool. He was the biggest kid of all and was adored by children and parents alike. He later became an IT specialist for the State of Tennessee for 20 years.
He is survived by his devoted husband, Weylin Dyer; parents, Joyce & Johnny Johnson; brothers, Jeff (Holly) and Rob (Tammy); uncles, Greg (barbara) and Randy Mullinix; several nieces, nephews and the entire Dyer family.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, 5401 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN. Funeral Services will be a private family affair.
