John Austin Obituary
John Edwin Austin, age 70, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home in Hixson, Tennessee.
John was born August 02, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of Edwin Austin and Penny Burk. He worked for The Hamilton County School Bus Transportation. He loved life and enjoyed being at the lake surrounded by his friends.
Survivors include his three sons, Keith Austin of Amarillo, TX, Shane Austin of Ooltewah, TN, Dillon Rogers of Lafayette, GA; daughter, Shelby Rogers Tapp of Ringgold, GA; several grandchildren; sisters, Reba (Randy) Lynn, Teresa Bailey with several nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be conducted by Pastor Randy Lynn at Chattanooga National Cemetery on April 6, 2023 at 2 p.m.
