On April 26th, 2020, Myra Hirsch Johnson born Myra Sue Hirsch (Susie) passed away at the age of 67. Susie was born at Martin Army Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia. She graduated from Hardaway High School in Columbus, Georgia. She was an avid fan of the Auburn Tigers and enjoyed many Iron Bowls, especially the games Auburn won – being in attendance at the “Kick Six” game with her family was a highlight for her. She was proud of her volunteer efforts at the Ronald McDonald house in Chattanooga. She especially loved being a grandmother to Kollin and Kyle Hilyer of Prattville, Alabama; Peyton Jo Hepburn and Oliver O’Neil of New Port Richey, Florida. They were the recipients of her unending love and joy.
Susie was predeceased by her father and mother, Allen & Juanita.
Survivors include her husband, Dave "Tag" Johnson; daughters, Abigail Hilyer and Rachel Hepburn; brother, Allen (Sonny) and many cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Susie will be interned in Phenix City, Alabama with her father.
She will be greatly missed by many friends, family, and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at a later date when her friends and family can gather to celebrate her life.
