Obituary

Peggy Kate Ingram, 86, passed away on March 28 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Peggy was born on May 17, 1936, to the late Lyda and Nellie Hall. She graduated from Cloudland High

School in Roan Mountain, Tennessee, and then moved to Chattanooga to attend Baroness Erlanger Hospital School of Nursing. Peggy worked as an RN at various Chattanooga hospitals before retiring from Erlanger in 2003.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Julian Ingram.

Peggy was a longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was active in many ministries over the years. Besides her devotion to her faith, she was a proud “cat mother” to many cats throughout her life, from whom she received much joy and affection.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, McKamey Animal Center, The Pet Placement Center, or a charity of your choice.
