Steve was a kind and loving man who never met a stranger. He loved his family most of all. He also loved to fish. In his last days, he told everyone "I'm ready to go to heaven and go fishing with Jesus!" Steve also loved animals, especially dogs. He spent a good part of his life in Texas raising and showing Canaan dogs. Steve was a retired truck driver. Steve proudly served in the United States Army in the 1960's.
A graveside service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Carl Blackburn officiating.
