Asher was truly a remarkable person. My deepest sympathies to his family.
God promises to reunite us with our loved ones soon, on a paradise Earth. When that happens, all of Asher's medical problems will be a thing of the past.
Isaiah 35:5,6 says that the blind will see, the deaf will hear and "the lame [those who can't walk] will leap like the deer."
Knowing that doesn't entirely take away our pain, of course. But at least our grief is not without hope.
I hope your family is able to find some comfort during this difficult time.
