Praying for comfort for Betsy and the entire family. Although just an acquaintance, I remember Dennis as the owner of the stain glass factory that my daughter and I toured as a place of employment when we visited Georgia-Cumberland Academy. It provided many jobs that helped young people work their way through academy.

Then what a pleasant surprise to see Dennis and Betsy at the Bridal Show with their lovely flower arranging. Grafe Studio did the flowers for my daughter's wedding.

Since that time, my daughter, daughter-in-law and friends have taken the special flower arranging classes that Dennis offered at the studio.

He has always been delightful, talented and caring. He will be missed.

Just heard of Dennis' passing last night at church at Small Group Facilitators Gathering which is how I first met Dennis a couple of years ago. He was such a kind & generous man. We served together greeting and he was so welcoming & engaged with people whether he knew you are not. He will be missed by his family & friends! Blessed to have known him.

My husband & I were deeply saddened to hear that Dennis had passed away & very sorry that we were unable to attend the service. I always enjoyed it when he was able to come to the Blue Cross market. Although I hadn't known him for very long, his kind & gentle spirit left a lasting impression. He was a joy to be around. I admired the courage, resolve, & grace with which he battled his illness. Our sincere condolences & prayers to Betsy, Todd & the rest of his family. May God provide the strength & comfort you need as you grieve & heal.

Though the ones we love are gone, they will live on in our hearts. May you find strength and comfort through the pages of the Bible. There it reassures us that God will soon bring about a time on the earth when death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3,4)

Dennis always had a smile on his face at our company's weekly farmer's market. It was a pleasure to work with him on a family event a couple of years ago. Prayers lifted up for his family. He will be missed.

To the Grafe family....I am sorry for your loss. I was one of those people that Dennis Grafe left an impression on. I only met him once on a trip to Saint Elmo almost 2 years ago. As a total stranger, I stopped by his lovely little shop for some flowers and we got to talking .... about my hometown Jersey City, other Jersey parts he was well familiar with, Brooklyn and Pratt Institute. He was a true "artistic" soul, charming, generous with his time. I was looking forward to visiting him again and picking up the conversation where we left it off. May he rest in peace in the Lord's embrace.

Dennis James Grafe was a true Christian. Honorable to all, cheerful in service, and faithfully loyal to the Lord Jesus. It is our privilege to have known him and to follow him as he followed Christ. We are deeply encouraged that we are not lost and without hope in the world...but eagerly look forward to the day when we'll see Dennis again! How thankful we are that he is now healthy, happy and reaping the reward of the presence of Jesus. We love you his family and are praying for you daily.
