I am so sorry to hear this news. Jean was an ORHS classmate, but I did not know her then. She was also a colleague at UT Libraries. It was a pleasure knowing her. She was kind and thoughtful. I will allways remember Jean with fondness. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

The staff of the Hodges Library at the University of Tennessee will miss Jean. She was a long time employee here at the library and did her best to help the students, staff and faculty at the university. We are sorry for the families loss.

I remember Jean as a very sweet, soft-spoken young woman who was very smart and a classmate I enjoyed knowing at Oak Ridge High School. Like so many of our classmates, contact was lost with Jean. This is another sad day for the her family, friends, and Class of 1964 classmates. Gone too soon--but we will remember her dearly. Rest in peace and may God bless her and her family.

Today I accidentally stumbled up on this, Jeans obituary. I am totally stunned as I had been trying to get hold of her off and on for several months without any results. This truly saddens me... I'm so very sorry. She was a classmate at ORHS. I remember her as somewhat shy but she had an unforgettable infectious laugh that she frequently used. Another friend gone to soon. Saying "Sorry for your loss" doesn't seem to convey enough emotion for me so I'll say "Sorry for our loss" God bless all of you. Doug
