General Price List
These prices are effective November 1, 2023, and are subject to change without notice.
Covenant Funeral & Crematory provides this General Price List so you have the information needed to make selections appropriate for your circumstances. You may choose only the goods and services you desire. Any funeral arrangements selected will include a charge for basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements require the purchase of items not specifically requested, the reason will be explained in writing on the statement of goods and services selected.
This list does not include prices for items such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers, or newspaper notices. Those items will be shown on your bill or statement.
Funeral Packages
*Funeral packages do not include the price of a casket, alternative container, or outer burial container. These items, if required, must be purchased separately.
Traditional Funeral Package — $4,795
Includes: transfer of the deceased to the funeral home within 50 miles; basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; other preparation of the deceased; use of equipment and staff for a 3–5 hour viewing on the preceding day; next-day funeral service; funeral coach to local cemetery; committal service; register book; acknowledgment cards; and 100 memorial folders.
One-Day Funeral Package — $4,495
Includes: transfer of the deceased to the funeral home within 50 miles; basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; other preparation of the deceased; use of equipment and staff for a 2-hour viewing immediately followed by the funeral service; funeral coach to local cemetery; committal service; register book; acknowledgment cards; and 100 memorial folders.
Graveside Service Package — $3,595
Includes: transfer of the deceased to the funeral home within 50 miles; basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; other preparation of the deceased; use of equipment and staff for graveside service; funeral coach to local cemetery; register book; acknowledgment cards; and 100 memorial folders.
Cremation Service Package — $1,995
Includes: transfer of the deceased to the funeral home within 50 miles; basic services of the funeral director and staff; transportation to the crematory and return of cremated remains to the funeral home; cremation fee; use of equipment and staff for memorial service; alternate fiberboard cremation container; polished sheet bronze cremation urn; register book; acknowledgment cards; and 100 memorial folders.
Direct Cremation - $1,170 to $1,195
Includes: basic services of the funeral director and staff; transfer of the deceased to the funeral home; crematory processing fee. Alternative containers are available and meet applicable state or crematory requirements.

Crematory Processing Fee — $500
State Fees:
- Tennessee: Cremation Permit $25; Death Certificate $15 each
- Georgia: Cremation Permit $0; Death Certificates $25 for the first, then $5 each
Immediate Burials - $2,495 to $3,490
Includes: basic services of the funeral director and staff; transfer of the deceased to the funeral home; alternate care of the deceased; transportation to the cemetery via service car.

Receiving/Forwarding Remains
Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home — $1,695
Includes: basic services of the funeral director and staff; local transfer of the deceased to the funeral home or cemetery via service car. Does not include visitation, rites, ceremonies, or transportation costs.
Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home — $1,995
Includes: transfer of the deceased to the funeral home; basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming and related care; transfer to the local airport. Does not include visitation, ceremony fees, transportation costs, or required outer shipping case.
- Outer Shipping Case (airline requirement) — $150
Professional Services
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff (Non-Declinable) — $2,195
Covers staff and facilities to respond to initial requests, arrange conferences, coordinate with the cemetery/crematory, and obtain permits and certificates. This fee is included in direct cremation, immediate burial, forwarding, and receiving charges.
Embalming — $595
Other Preparation of the Deceased (cosmetology, grooming, dressing, casketing) — $180
Alternate Care of the Deceased (if no embalming) — $180
Use of Equipment and Staff for Off-Premises Visitation — $495
Use of Equipment and Staff for Off-Premises Funeral or Memorial Ceremony — $495

Motor equipment use beyond 50 miles incurs an additional charge of $2.75 per mile (one way).
